1956 Reprint Edition, The American Card Catalog is known as "The Bible" of card collecting. A gateway to the enchantment of days gone by. This classic collectors’ guide (originally issued in 1953) which gives us the reference numbers we use today- T4, T-206, R319, E90 etc. has been reprinted. This is not a price guide, but the premiere reference on collectible cards and related items dating from the mid-19th century. This reprint contains all the illustrations included in the original book and features not only baseball cards but advertising cards, poster cards, movie stills, paper dolls, post cards, cigar brands and wrappers, greeting cards, buttons, pins, match boxes, labels, & calendars. All 168 pages are in very good condition, the cover is loose and has faded some.
